Centrally located in the city of Marburg near the Schlossberg (castle hill). The public elevator leading up into the historical Old Town part is at the hotel's doorstep. Nearest airport is Frankfurt (Rhein-Main-Flughafen), 95 km.

Most probably, you will enter Marburg on road B3. Take exit "Marburg Mitte". Turn right in direction of "Zentrum". Follow the street and cross the Lahn river. Next traffic light turn right in direction"Klinikum" and keep to the left lane. Following the main road, you will automatically enter Biegenstraße. Behind cinema building "Kino Capitol" turn left following Biegenstraße; where you will soon reach the entrance to the public garage of Lahn Center on your left hand side. Other public car parks can be found around the hotel in the downtown area.

And how to get onto road B3?

Coming on A7 motorway from Hamburg/Hannover:
At junction "Kassel Ost" switch to A49 in direction Bad Wildungen and Marburg. Where the motorway ends, continue on road B3 to Marburg.

Coming on A4 from Leipzig/Erfurt:
At junction "Kirchheimer Dreieck" switch to A7 in direction Würzburg. Two exits later, at
"Hattenbacher Dreieck" switch to A5 to Giessen. Leave the motorway at exit "Alsfeld" and take
the road B62 to Marburg.

Coming on A3 from Düsseldorf/Köln:
At junction "Kreuz Köln Ost" switch to A4 motorway to Olpe. At junction "Kreuz Olpe Süd" switch
to A45 to "Siegen/Frankfurt". At junction "Kreuz Wetzlar Ost" leave the motorway and continue on road B49 in direction of Gießen. From the "Gießener Ring" on, Marburg is indicated on the signs taking you onto road B3.

Coming on A5 from Frankfurt:
At junction "Gambacher Kreuz" switch to A45 to Gießen/Marburg. At junction "Südkreuz Gießen"switch to A485 to Marburg which automatically takes you to B3.

1 You can buy your ticket by phone: just contact our service number +49 (0)1806 - 31 11 53  and use the keyword "CONVENTUS". Make sure you have your credit card to hand for payment (please note that Deutsche Bahn AG levies a surcharge for all credit card payments in accordance with the conditions of carriage for persons travelling with Deutsche Bahn AG companies ("BB Personenverkehr"). The service hotline is open Mondays to Friday from 8am to 8pm. There is a charge of EUR 0.20 per call from a German landline and a maximum of EUR 0.60 per call from mobile networks.

If you do not plan to rent a car anyway, you best go to Marburg by train. Take the S-Bahn (rapid transit train) to Frankfurt/Main -Hauptbahnhof (leaving from the Airport downstairs in the C area, ride takes 7 minutes, tickets all the way to Marburg are sold at a desk). At Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof go upstairs to the railway platforms. IC and RE trains to Marburg/Lahn leave once an hour minimum, the ride takes one hour. From the station to the hotel continue as above.
